As Learning Disability Week approaches, we're excited to share some fantastic events happening in our community. This is a great opportunity for everyone to come together, support one another, and raise awareness about learning disabilities. Here’s a rundown of the activities planned in our local area:

Kick off your Thursday morning with a relaxed "Chill and Chat" session at The Hatchet in Newbury town centre. This informal gathering is perfect for anyone looking to meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy a friendly conversation over a cup of coffee. Whether you stay for a few minutes or the full two hours, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere and great company.

Later in the day, join CTPLD on the Health Bus located on Northbrook Street. This mobile health clinic offers a range of services and information about maintaining good health and wellbeing. It's a fantastic resource for anyone looking to learn more about managing their health, with professionals on hand to answer any questions. The Health Bus will be available from 10am to 4pm, so drop by at your convenience.

End your week on a high note with an evening social at The Slug and Lettuce in Newbury town centre. This event runs from 6pm to 9pm and offers a great chance to unwind, enjoy some food and drinks, and connect with others in a relaxed and friendly environment. It’s the perfect setting to make new friends and catch up with old ones.
